  • Stimulates appetite
  • Muscular tension relief

APPEARANCE, AROMA, + FLAVOR:
APPEARANCE;

The buds of Triangle Kush were perfectly dense and with just the right amount of give. As always, freshness seems to be the main concern with Grow West. The buds were on the medium side and quite bushy but somewhat brittle after a day or two, which I didn’t seem to mind.

AROMA;

  • Sweet-lemon drop-like aroma
  • Citrus -lemon rind/ orange / Clementine rind
  • Nut- misc. indiscriminate nutty aroma
  • Herbal-black pepper
  • Earthy-pine
  • Hash- sweet and fragrant incense-like aroma typical of Afghan strains – but to my senses, it leans specifically toward an afghan hash aroma (mostly noticeable when ground or broken down by hand).

FLAVOR;

  • Citrus -lemon
  • Sweet- lemon / at times a burnt marshmallow taste
  • Misc . Sour- aftertaste post combustion exhale
  • Hash- afghan hash taste after successive combustion

APPLICATION (MEDICINAL +RECREATIONAL):

MEDICINAL;
Could potentially help in mitigation or alleviation of symptoms caused by:

  • ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Sleep Disorders/ Issues
  • Eating disorders/loss of appetite

RECREATIONAL;
Could lend itself to the enhancement of:

  • Creative activities/pastimes depending on dosage and level of physical and mental energy at time of ingestion
  • Repetitive work that requires sustained focus and effort (painting, needlepoint, etc.) *but most likely you’ll be up for something more engaging.
  • working out (pre maybe/ post definitely
  • Gaming *not a gamer per se but I am enough to know this would be great
    * Watching movies

A CLOSER LOOK INSIDE:

TOP TERPENES;

  1. Beta-Myrcene 0.74%
  2. Beta-Caryophyllene 0.5%
  3. Delta -Limonene 0.44%

Without a doubt .74% of Myrcene will add a layer of sedation to the overall effect especially when fortified with an equally impressive .5% of Caryophyllene.
Myrcene also has the ability to modulate other terpenes, magnifying their intensity, Even terpenes that illicit more energetic or cerebrally stimulating effects may be enhanced by interacting with Myrcene
Successive sessions with Triangle Kush produced an almost narcotic effect definitely justifies Indica status. But, the Limonene at .44% is also equally capable of dispersing its fair share of cerebral euphoric uplift most likely enhanced again by the abundant and powerful Myrcene.
NOTE: Interestingly, the data for this seems to be a bit inconclusive as several of the terpene percentages are not available. Apparently the MRL label is simply a convention of whichever one of the 4 or so testing facilities in Maryland tested this eighth of Triangle Kush. In this case, after confirming with an independent testing lab signifies that the terpene in question was not present in a recordable level above the threshold they have set for calibration. So no big deal here really.

"...Triangle Kush is also known for its ability to stimulate creativity..."

CONCLUSION:
Triangle Kush is an Indica hybrid strain of unknown origin but with genetics most likely sourced from at least three varieties of Afghani Indica is named for the three main cannabis-producing capitals in the state of Florida: Jacksonville, Miami, and Tampa Fostering a deeply physical tension release, muscle relaxation, Triangle Kush’s potential to sedate is great.

Along with this predominant “body stone”, Triangle Kush is also known for its ability to stimulate creativity.

Triangle Kush is a salute to the specialized, and most likely, coincidental genetic interbreeding of cannabis varieties  hailing from the state of Florida, known for producing heavy stoning “kush” Indica strains.

THE LONG WAY HOME (MY TOKE…)
Triangle Kush was very enjoyable. In my mind, it’s one of those Indica dominant strains which can stimulate creativity on top of its deeply relaxing body high (which can be very sedating) and may have you engaged in an activity while forgetting to finish your bowl.

This happened at least three times during my time with Grow West’s Triangle Kush.
Speaking of Grow West, they seem to have a true appreciation of strains that are Afghani in origin.

This evident in Grow West’s Triangle Kush.
In fact, if encountered Triangle Kush on a blind test, I would most certainly guess it to be an Afghan strain.

The perfumed aroma that seems characteristic in strains of Afghan lineage is quite loud and when Triangle Kush’s tightly packed buds are broken open they reveal an even deeper hash-like aroma.
