*** interestingly enough it looks like the crew at Nirvana did not list the date of this bulk flower’s expiration. This seems suspect since it is bulk where expiration dates may matter more than pre- packed flower. However it seemed fresh and that expiry is a long way off.
If it was an ounce or half ounce I would definitely request the COA (certificate of analysis) which every MMCC patient must be allowed access to if requested) and I would check the Expiration Date as should you when buying larger quantities of house -packed bulk flower. Remember that folks.

ONYCD or Original New York City Diesel by Nature’s Heritage is mot a stunner per-se…it doesn’t have time for any frills as its effect is the real attraction.
attractive light to darkened light green flower with a coating of tiny crystalline trichomes that give it a silvery shimmer at times and light orange stigma/pistils/“hairs” interspersed in random fashion within and around the dense buds appearing almost golden while highlighted by thicker areas of trichome coverage.
Good For Bowls and Rolls:
ONYCD Is a workable flower and is suitable really for anything although I would prefer to grind it can get a little gummy and rather hard to break up to a fine grain when too much pressure is applied to the already densely packed buds.
AROMA;

- Hint of aroma typically associated with Thai strains in my experience; sort of a black or green tea or mild steak sauce type aroma
FLAVOR (INHALE / EXHALE):

NOTE: the Ash burned a very light grey “Naturally” as is the case usually with any Nature’s Heritage flower. This is indicative of a good flush and cure in which excess nutrients are washed out leaving a cleaner plant over all that will not have leftover chemicals and nutrients that tend to turn black instead of grey
PACKAGING:
This was bulk and sold in a plain black cylindrical flip top dram and I have to say I didn’t miss the Faux wood top or the heavy glass jar. I would like to see Nature’s Heritage flower packed in a ziplock that may help reduce the retail cost possibly. Mostly I say that I prefer the plastic small dram simply for the ease of transport.

ONYCD often (and this batch certainly) contains higher amount of Caryophyllene, Myrcene, and Limonene.

THE LONG ROAD HOME (My Toke…)
As someone who suffers from migraines, ONYCD has always been on a short list of strains that seem to help my symptoms.
Most Diesel strains seem to work well for this application; Sour Diesel is definitely one that has been effective for me in the past.
I purchased this ONYCD as bulk and I really had no recall of wanting to try it for headache relief. But as it happened later that day I did actually begin to experience pre- migraine symptoms like mild pain some nausea and a general feeling of anxiety
or what migraine headache sufferers refer to as the “aura” which signals an imminent migraine.
I decided to give the ONYCD a shot at scaring away the migraine that was rapidly forming behind my left eye and neck.
I was beginning to feel like I had missed the window to successfully quell the pain, when my first exhale of Nature’s Heritage ONYCD I began to feel relief as a gentle surge of warmth filled my chest cavity and began climbing toward the base of my skull.
With this came an influx of mental euphoria that seemed to distract the migraine’s
mission plan and almost had me creatively inspired to finish some content. This was fleeting since I was already on my way to becoming incapacitated with an ice pack on my skull.
Within minutes I felt unburdened by symptoms and the dull pulsating pain behind my right eye shrunk back to a mild or “normal headache” which eventually disappeared completely by morning.
I was genuinely surprised and happily so at how effective it really was I had an experience that kind of relief from cannabis since last trying Grassroots lemon grenades, which to be fair has a terpene profile with high amounts of Limonene that are definitely good for nausea but not able to completely surround and crush the migraine when it’s reached the point of mine had; passed the aura and heading fast towards the point of no return.
The whole experience was enough to make me always want to have some of this on hand just in case this month it is becoming may be the most therapeutic flower for migraines since I can have experienced its efficacy first hand.
It should also be mentioned that the 4th most concentrated terpene is Humulene, which technically is another name for Caryophyllene B which adds even more anti-inflammatory power to the recipe.
Yes it was bulk and yes it had the requisite Untrimmed guard and fan leaves, but the heart of these buds was dense and properly cured.
It is interesting because, this ONYCD does remind me of the NYC diesel I experienced often when I lived in New York City, in the early 90s; maybe some of you were there too(?)
…We may even know one another….But, I would say Nature’s Heritage’s version of ONYCD is maybe a bit less octane fueled or a shade more mellow and not so cerebrally intense as the original that I became accustomed to….But, it’s very close.
